Charles “Sonny” Shanks

Charles “Sonny” Shanks is a Broker Owner of Ruggeri & Shanks, LLC, a real estate services firm in Saint Augustine, Florida. He is a graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI designation), holds a broker’s license and is designated as a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) by the Real Estate Business Institute. Sonny is a retired U.S. Army officer and has over 20 additional years of executive leadership and management experience in the transportation, logistics, manufacturing and snow sports industries. With Florida REALTORS® (state association), Sonny serves on the Commercial Alliance Committee and the Legislative Think Tank. Locally, Sonny is on the board of directors for the St. Augustine and St. Johns County Multiple Listing Service (MLS), currently serving as president. Sonny is also very active in the local community having served as the chairman of the Small Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Economic Development Council.
