“I want to develop a practice recognized for its high level of commitment and service to its clients,” says Richard Candia. “A practice that delivers not just a single purchase or sale, but that stands ready to serve as a solution for any real estate needs the client may have in the future, as well.”
Rich’s past career experience spans politics, higher education, and policy, and helped hone a unique combination of skills. These include the ability to locate, analyze, and communicate valuable information; to identify opportunities for his buyers and sellers through effective networking; and to link what might appear to be unrelated bits of information into powerful, productive tools for the benefit of his clients.
“My primary service is information,” says Rich, “full, tailored, continuous information.” Rather than a barrage of possible listings, his buyers instead receive a customized list of properties that meet their specific wants and needs. Everything is communicated in context, with information on the various aspects of the market tailored to their individual interests. “That ensures that my sellers have a clear vision of what I intend to accomplish for them,” Rich says.
A first generation American born in Jacksonville, Florida, to Bolivian parents, Rich grew up in a military family, speaks English and Spanish, and attended Balboa High School in Panama, where he lived for ten years. He graduated from Florida State University, in Tallahassee, with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, and later earned a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University, in Miami. Married, with two grown children, Rich has lived in Kendall for 19 years and loves cooking, good wine, and traveling.
